The Dane Classic 30 is a vintage-style tube amplifier that is in a price range that is mainly dominated by mass-produced guitar amplifiers. If you are a rock, country or blues guitarist, you will get a good-sounding and warm-sounding tube amplifier that can cover all your amplification needs, whether you are in the studio, on stage or at home. The Classic 30 is also an excellent amplifier for a blues harmonica. With a Bullet microphone and a Dane Classic 30 you will be able to achieve a good-sounding and vibrant amplification of your Blues harmonica.

For many guitarists, the natural overdrive of the Classic 30, combined with the built-in reverb, provides plenty of sonic possibilities. However, if you're one of those who likes to use your own favorite effects pedals with a good tube amp, then the Classic 30 is the obvious choice for you too.

The Classic 30 is designed with a strong focus on being good at accepting pedals. This means that you get an even more delicious and warm overdrive if you push the tubes in the Classic 30 a little more, via some kind of booster pedal.

The Classic 30 is built on a popular American amplifier design, which uses the classic combination of 12AX7 amplifier tubes and 6L6GC tubes in the power amplifier. It delivers 30 watts and is equipped with a 12” Celestion speaker. The control section is laid out with a gain control and a 3-band tone control section with bass, midrange and treble controls. The overall sound level is controlled with the volume control, while presence allows you to lift the upper midrange, and thus make the sound from the amplifier more or less present. A Reverb control controls how much spring reverb you have in your guitar's signal. The Fat switch causes the 12AX7 tube to be driven harder, and raises the gain/overdrive level, so that you get a tighter and more overdriven tube sound.

Dane is a Danish brand with roots dating back to the 1960s, where Dane was involved in several major events in terms of delivering sound. Among other things, Dane and its then sister brand MAX were involved in the planning and delivery of sound for the first version of the Roskilde Festival.

The idea for Dane arose in early 1961-62, when the Danish importer of VOX was asked to supply amplifiers for The Beatles' first foreign concerts, which at that time were planned in Hamburg. Since VOX could not supply a dedicated PA system at that time, the importer had the idea to found a company that could supply all the amplification one could imagine needing for a concert. That is, PA systems, guitar amplifiers, bass amplifiers and much more. Thus Dane was born.

As far as we know, The Beatles never played Dane amplifiers anyway, but they were the reason Dane was founded in the first place. They might have been quite excited to play through a Dane system, as Dane, among other things, was known for being able to deliver systems that had an extraordinary amount of power compared to the systems that were available at the time.
