AiX audio technology
At the heart of the CT X700 is the Casio AiX sound source. AiX (Acoustic Intelligent Xpression) technology reproduces the tonal characteristics of acoustic instruments to create the most authentic sounds and dynamics. AiX is a major leap forward in sound technology and quality, offering more than you would ever expect from a mid-range keyboard.
The sound source is carefully designed with high-quality tones across all instrument categories, faithfully reproducing subtle nuances and movements specific to each type of sound. You can even customize the tones using the 100 DSP effects that combine different algorithms, three system effects (reverb, chorus, and delay), and ten equalizer presets.
Bring the band into the heat
Thanks to the CT X700’s vast library of voices, you’ll never be short of sounds. If you’re looking for a piano sound, sit down and perform on the meticulously recorded 9-foot grand piano in a virtual concert hall. Looking for a woodwind instrument? Then play a flute, trumpet, or saxophone and hear natural breathing and vibrato. How about something more windy? Choose a bass instrument and hear the player change technique depending on how hard you press the keys. This vast library of sounds brings a new sense of realism.
To get the beat going, the CT X700 also has hundreds of built-in rhythms. The wide variety of rhythms spans the globe and the history of popular music. The collection includes both old classics and chart hits - all played with incredible accuracy and realism. In addition, the drum kits come to life with a mix of acoustic drums, vintage drum machines and a massive collection of additional percussion instruments and sound effects.
Modern functionality
The six-track song recorder lets you build exciting compositions and recordings. The CT X700 even has a driver-free PC connection, which can be easily connected to a Mac, iPad or PC with music writing software. In addition, the Harmonize/Arpeggiator function adds extra accompaniment and additional harmonies. With 32 registration memories, the CT X700 lets you recall your favorite sounds and rhythms more easily than ever before - ideal for live performances. If you want to play along with your favorite songs, you can connect your media player to the mini-jack socket.
