It's often difficult to describe today's tones without drawing references to the pioneers of the time. Japanese Ibanez wrote an important chapter in the pedal evolution with the 1970s launch of the Tube Screamer - a small, bright green silicon distortion that has since gained rank as the most used, copied and modified overdrive pedal of all time. Ibanez has been around the music industry, but continues to build a select catalog of the effects pedals that changed music in their time, and are still thriving.
