The new KR-11 is a compact, portable, yet feature-packed rhythm box that offers a wealth of rhythms and options that make practicing much more fun.

The KR-11 is equipped with 126 distinct rhythm patterns and 14 dedicated user programs that add a new dimension to your instrumental practice in the practice room. The simple layout provides super-easy access to inspiring backing tracks, no matter where you are.

The KR-11 features a convenient tap tempo and swing function, and you can easily edit and save or create your favorite rhythm patterns from scratch via the 16 velocity-sensitive pads. In addition, the KR-11 boasts impressive real-time capabilities, including smooth transitions via the foot pedal, giving you all the flexibility you need for your practice or live performances.

User-friendly anytime, anywhere

Simply select your favorite genre to get started! Each genre contains 14 variations for a total of 126 distinct patterns, as well as 14 dedicated slots where you can easily save your own unique patterns, so you can take your practice sessions to the next level. The KR-11 is battery-powered, lightweight and compact. The built-in speaker allows for easy playback on the spot, without the need for external amplification. In addition to basic patterns like 8-beat and 16-beat, the KR-11 also has specific styles like 'Blues/R&B' and 'Country' tailored for guitarists and a super cool 'Island' style for ukulele. In addition to 3/4 patterns, the KR-11 also has more intricate five- and seven-bar patterns. The swing function works on all patterns, adding a stepless groove feel that you can adjust to your taste and style. The KR-11 also features a more basic metronome for basic timing practice, making it suitable for a wide range of musicians, including guitarists, bassists, keyboard players, and orchestral musicians.

Expand your training and performance options

Connect a foot pedal (sold separately) and make it easier to start/stop, change patterns or fill-ins in pattern play mode, allowing you to control the KR-11 without using your hands. In Pad Play mode, the foot pedal allows you to play selected drum sounds, so you can play the drummer while playing your instrument! (Bass drum and hi-hat are pre-assigned, but can be changed by the user). The KR-11 also has a headphone/line-out jack, allowing you to connect it to a PA mixer, amplifier or other devices, so you can play drum phrases through monitor speakers.

Finger drumming with pad play mode

The 16 pads on the unit are assigned drum sounds such as bass drum, snare drum, hi-hat and cymbals. These pads can be used for finger drumming! They are velocity sensitive, so they respond to the force of your strikes, making your performance more realistic. You can also save your pad setups in the user bank, so you can recall and play your favorite patterns at any time. The KR-11 is compact, battery-powered and equipped with built-in speakers so you can perform on the couch, outdoors or, yes, anywhere!

Powerful sound from newly developed speaker system

The newly developed speaker system is compact yet powerful, delivering a wide frequency spectrum and natural resonance. In addition, KORG's newly developed Acoustage Bass technology helps reproduce the deep bass sound of bass drums, for example.
