The RB2 delivers 30 watts RMS of solid bass power.
Combined with both a 10" custom-designed driver and a high-frequency horn, the entire bass range can be heard with clarity and definition. The RB2 preamp features high and normal jack inputs – suitable for active and passive basses, as well as a powerful 3-band EQ with a swept mid control, making precise tone shaping a breeze. A switchable compressor provides instant impact. In addition to a headphone jack for silent practice and an Aux input for audio playback, an XLR DI jack allows the RB2 to be connected directly to a PA system or recording console.

The amplifier can be used in two orientations depending on requirements. Instead of being used in the conventional upright position, if the amplifier is to be used close to the player, it can be used in a "kicked back" orientation, meaning the amplifier's output is directed more towards the player's ears.
