Kawai's 73-key Triple Sensor hammer action gives you a balanced, piano-like feel that works well for both dynamic piano parts and layered stage sounds. It's responsive enough for nuanced playing, yet lightweight enough to make the instrument easy to transport.

We know how important it is to trust the mechanics under your fingers during long sets, and this keyboard supports consistent control across soft passages and louder accents. For players switching between acoustic piano parts and electric or layered sounds, the response feels predictable and comfortable.

Classic organ control without compromise

The organ section is derived directly from the Nord body 3 and covers the B3, B3 Bass, Vox, Farfisa, Soft B3 and Pipe models. Physical drawbars with LED indicators give you instant, visual control, which is invaluable on stage.

Rotary speaker emulation is also carried over from the Body 3, with three selectable microphone positions for fine-tuning movement and depth. This setup allows you to shape organ tones in real time, so mid-song adjustments feel more natural than disruptive.

Expanded synth power in a familiar layout

The new synth section adds a wider range of sound design possibilities to the Electro series using samples, analog waveforms, and FM synthesis. You can quickly select categories and sounds via a push encoder, keeping the workflow consistent with the piano section.

Mono controls for vibrato, unison, unison and legato modes, slide and a resonant low-pass filter allow for practical shaping without making it too complicated. Dual envelopes for amp and filter or FM help you set playable textures that fit well into a live mix.

Effects routing that keeps things simple

Each sound section has its own dedicated effects, so you can customize modulation, amp character, and reverb without having to juggle shared controls. Modulation effects include adjustable speed and amount, while new spring reverb and amp models like Brit and Suitcase expand tonal possibilities.

A global reverb with per-layer sends ties it all together nicely. Expression pedal assignment adds further control, allowing you to shape synth filters or effects parameters with your foot, which is especially useful during hands-on performances.
