It can be difficult to be a drummer, especially if you live in an apartment. You get complaints from neighbors because you make too much noise, and it affects how much you practice, and then the joy is gone. But an electric drum kit can make up for that. An electric drum kit has many advantages: It takes up less space than a regular drum kit, and can either be played silently with headphones or connected to a sound system or an active speaker. An electric drum kit consists of several electric pads that are grouped together and contain sounds that are similar to an acoustic drum kit. Electric drum kits can also deliver a wide range of different sounds, which gives more options and adds extra color to your drumming.

With the Nux DM-210 you get a complete electric drum set, which in addition to containing 5 drums, 2 cymbals and hi-hat, comes with both a stand and a bass drum pedal. You get an 8” snare drum with 2 sensors, so you can make edge hits, and you get three 8” toms, so in addition to the snare drum, you also have a right and left tom and a floor tom. In addition, you get a bass drum pad with an accompanying bass drum pedal.

On the DM-210, the three toms and the snare drum are all equipped with mesh heads – something that is unique in this price range. Mesh heads provide a more realistic playing feel than conventional drum pads, so you get the experience of sitting in front of a “real” drum kit to a much greater extent.
