Nux Mighty Air is a wireless 10 watt stereo modeling battery amplifier for electric guitar and electric bass, which comes with a wireless transmitter for your guitar/bass, so you can connect to the amplifier and play without having to use or carry an instrument cable. Built-in Bluetooth and an accompanying dedicated app allow you to add different effects, choose different amplifiers, or adjust and customize your tone from via your Android or iOS smartphone. Mighty Air is suitable for a wide variety of purposes including pre-show warm-ups, as a travel amplifier, for spontaneous jam sessions and more.
The amplifier comes with a transmitter and a built-in receiver that automatically pairs and finds the best possible signal to give you a seamless and uninterrupted signal. This works with all types of electric guitars and basses, as well as both passive and active pickups.
The amp also has 2 operating modes and 7 different channels; 4 channels for guitar with a Clean, Overdrive, Distortion and Acoustic Simulator, and 3 channels for bass which are Pop, Rock and Funk. It has a unique speaker system that uses two 2.2” speakers as well as a passive bass speaker. Don't let the small size fool you, this amp is packed with preamps, IRs and effects that can be used with the associated app. You can save your preferences and settings on the channels!
Mighty Air has a built-in high-performance rechargeable battery that can provide up to 18 hours of use on a full charge.
Last but not least, the amplifier has built-in Bluetooth for playing songs or backing tracks, which you can use for learning and practicing. What makes this feature unique to the Nux Mighty Air, however, is that the amplifier has EQ settings that allow you to cut parts out of a song, making it possible to create a semi-backing track. For example, you can use the GUITAR CUT EQ setting to suppress the guitar part of a song so that you can focus on your own playing.
