sE V7-X is built to perform - and to last

V7 is available in a range of versions to suit every need. The capsule is also available for both Shure and Sennheiser wireless. This is the version specially adjusted for instrument use.

Metal construction

You won't find any plastic bits in a V7-X. The housing is made of a super-strong zinc alloy that is designed to resist both interference and moisture, and the stainless steel grill is shockproof. Note the grooved edge just below the grill. It's not just for looks, but also prevents the microphone from rolling when you put it down. The V7-X is also equipped with gold-plated XLR connectors, which prevent corrosion and ensure a healthy signal for many years.

Built-in pop filter

sE's extensive experience from the studio world has been continued in the V-series. The built-in pop filter means that it is much more difficult to make a V-mic pop. And if you don't like the red look, you will find a black one in the box that you can easily switch to.

Innovative capsule

The DMC7 capsule is specially designed to produce a crisp, open sound, which in the V7-X is fine-tuned for instrument use with a slightly softer treble and a little more fullness in the bass than in the standard V7. The sophisticated super-cardioid characteristic ensures extremely good feedback rejection, even at high gain. Neodynium magnets, tight tolerances in production and first-class craftsmanship equal sensitivity, precision and surplus in a first-class class.

Patented integrated suspension

The all-new internal suspension of the V7 effectively decouples the capsule from all mechanical vibrations, resulting in exceptionally low handling noise, especially compared to competitors in its class. This gives the artist more freedom to move without having to worry about distortion.
