Tanglewood Tiare ukuleles have been researched and developed with patience and diligence.
With influences from Polynesia, the name is taken from Tahiti's national flower, capturing the essence of the South Pacific and ensuring that the Tiare models are an authentic and traditional example of ukulele artistry.
The Tiare ukuleles are made from a contrasting selection of exotic materials, from stunning black walnut to figured Hawaiian koa, specially selected by Tanglewood to have beautiful veining, making each instrument unique. Each ukulele features a luxurious "fiddleback" shaped back for increased sound projection and volume, as well as Aquila strings, which are usually only found on the most professional and expensive instruments as standard equipment. The models are also equipped with neck-truss rods and chrome metal machine heads for precise tuning.
