The V-3E Ukiyoe from Tyma is a 6-string western guitar, equipped with a built-in microphone, and constructed with a mahogany back and sides. The exceptionally beautiful Tyma V-3E is high-gloss lacquered with a beautiful and artistic landscape motif with birds in the Japanese Ukiyo-e style on the front, while the transparent high-gloss lacquer on the back and sides makes the beautiful mahogany wood appear warm and natural. The deck is constructed with a traditional “X” bucket design. The “X” bucket design gives the V-3E Ukiyoe a high volume and a full tone, while making the guitar solid and stable.
The soundboard, which is made entirely of sitka spruce and mahogany, gives the V-3E Ukiyoe a warm and overtone-rich sound, with a good balance between the thin and thick strings. The solid sitka spruce on the deck gives the guitar more volume and clarity, while the solid deck means that the guitar will develop even more sound as the guitar is played, a property that you don't get in guitars with spruce veneer decks.
The choice of the Grand Auditorium size means that the guitar is slightly smaller than a dreadnought, making it suitable for those who find a dreadnought a bit too bulky in size, or those who stand up a lot when playing guitar. The Grand Auditorium model is also slightly more focused in the midrange, making it particularly suitable for fingerstyle playing.
The Tyma V-3E Ukiyoe comes with a built-in microphone system, which consists of a built-in preamp and microphone, which is located under the bridge. If you need to amplify the guitar, you can do this too.
